Bhimthadi Jatra is a 3 day event consisting of live performances of folk artists, authentic maharashtrian food stalls, exhibition of variety of articles created by women in Maharashtra. Bhimthadi Jatra is a happening place full of colors, aromas and sounds to celebrate the living traditions of Maharashtra. This is a ‘non profit’ venture.

Inspiration
This was perhaps my earliest project that i had undertaken for the love of design. After a family outing to this event, I was inspired by the textures, compositions, colors and patterns on display at this magnificent fair. I thus decided to visualize the experience into an art collection of patterns, colors and textures. This helped me understand and translate real life experience into visual representation of them. My love for branding had already taken off, only to later pursue this professionally.

To this is day, Bhimthadi Jatra remains as one of my favourite and most memorable design projects.
